The Hummingbird is one in my series of chubby borbs (bird + orb = borb). This series was created during the 2020 pandemic when I had a lot of time and needed something cheerful & fun to work on. The collection is also inspired by wonderful memories from my childhood. I spent many days sitting with my grandmother at her kitchen window watching a variety birds she invited into her yard with feeders and baths. We would watch together as she taught me about them. Simple pleasures often create the best memories.
